Journey through Austria
If you come from the Fern-pass you travel to Imst direction Bregenz until Landesck. If you are in Landeck you take the junction to Meran- St. Moritz-Reschen-pass. Now you take the Inntalstraße until Pfunds, junction Kajetansbrücke and via Spiss to Samnaun.
Journey through the Arlmountain
If you come from the Bodenlake you travel past Bregenz direction Landeck/Tirol. You travel trough the Arlbergtunnel (or via the Arlberg-pass) and you continue until Landeck. Now you take the junction to Meran-St.Moritz-Reschen-pass. You take the Inntalroad until Pfunds junction Kajetansbrücke and via Spiss to Samnaun.
To get faster to Samnau
The “Vereinalinie” was built in the last months of the year 1999. It is a train connection from Kloster to Lavin/Unterengadin. Thanks to the Vereinatunnel travelling from Zürich to Samnau with public means of transport will take you two hours less than normal. The car transport through the Vereinatunnel offers a guaranteed connection also in winter and you will reach Samnaun much faster. In summer 2000 the Landeckertunnel has been opened to traffic (You have to buy a sticker to pay the road-fees) so you can avoid Landeck in an easy and fast way.
Local bus and skibus
The local bus connects in summer and winter several villages within the valley of Samnaun. In winter you can take the skibus. Tourists of the Samnaunvalley can use the local bus and the skibus without any charge.
